The Kerberos BuCUE Hound is a modification of ZAFT’s Mass Production TMF/A-802 Mobile BuCUE. The Kerberos BuCUE Hound improves the quadrupedal beast’s combat performance, particularly close-quarters combat. ZAFT equipped the Kerberos BuCUE Hound with new turret parts to equip the Zaku Warrior's interchangeable Wizard Packs, reducing production costs and making the BuCUE a more versatile platform. The BuCUE did not perform well with most Wizard Packs, as their designers only developed the Wizard System for use with traditional bipedal Mobile Suits. ZAFT would solve this issue by creating a new Wizard Pack specifically for the BuCUE, the Kerberos Wizard. The Kerberos BuCUE Hound would receive a handful of modifications to the Mobile Suit to increase the functionality with its new equipment.
