R the legs compatible with the origin?
Answer
Unfortunately the two versions use different types of connections at the hip and thigh, so it wouldn't be possible to use the 3.0's legs on the origin or vice versa without significant custom work

does this kit have pre-molded hands, or does it have independant hands?
Answer
It comes with movable-finger-type hands,but be careful because the fingers kept coming out of the ball joints,very frustrating sometimes getting them back on the hand

A nice challenge.
A fun build, though a bit of a challenge at times. Poses good, but some parts are loose, mainly the shoulder armor, waist connection, and hip armor. I also had a problem with two of the peices on the arms.

a good challenge
The quality was outstanding,very good kit for those who like a challenge,definitely recommend this kit,just be careful on the hands because the fingers kept popping out of the hands at the ball joints,and they wont wrap all the way around the beam sabers without the fingers popping out of place. Also it was a very frustrating and complex build,not recommended for beginners,if you are a beginner,start off with some hg's and work your way up until you think your ready to build this one,and remember,don't give up on your builds.

Oddly frustrating
Don’t get me wrong, the MG 3.0 is an amazing kit, and I totally recommend it, but it’s just not perfect. The head, body, core fighter, and feet build fine, but the arms, legs, and especially the hands are really not that good. The arm joints are a nightmare to build. One bit on the legs gets too much pressure put on it when it’s attached parallel to the foot. And the fingers are so bad I had to museum putty them in and they still pop out regularly. Overall, highly recommend, just know there’s some issues.
